How it works

• Get your fixed price from us first, either instantly using our online quote tools or from a survey.
• Send us the competing quote by email, WhatsApp or in person, before you accept our quote or any work starts.
• We check it's a genuine like-for-like match against what we've quoted you.
• We confirm your matched price in writing, usually within one working day.

What counts as a like-for-like quote

To keep this fair to every customer, a quote has to match on more than just the bottom line before we can match it:

• It must be a genuine, itemised written quote from a company registered with Gas Safe (for gas work) or NICEIC (for electrical work), as applicable to the job.
• It must be for the same brand and model of boiler or equipment, or one we agree is a genuine equivalent, not a lower-specification substitute.
• It must include the same warranty length, the same scope of work, and the same certification and Building Control notification we've included in ours.
• It must include VAT and any call-out, survey or other compulsory fee, exactly as our price does.
• It must be dated within the last 14 days.

What we can't match

• Quotes or estimates from traders we can't verify as currently registered, insured and qualified for the work.
• Online marketplace listings, part-exchange or clearance prices, or quotes that don't include installation.
• Prices that only look lower because they leave out work our quote includes, such as a system clean, certification or making good.
• Prices for work we wouldn't consider safe or compliant with Gas Safe, NICEIC or current Building Regulations. We won't cut a legal corner to match a price, whatever the saving.
• Quotes presented after you've accepted ours or after work has started.

The terms

• This guarantee is available to domestic customers on installation work quoted through this website or by our team. It doesn't apply to service plans, repairs, or call-out and diagnosis charges.
• The competing quote must be presented to us before you accept our quotation and before any work begins. We can't price-match retrospectively.
• We may contact the other company to confirm their quote is genuine before agreeing to match it.
• We reserve the right to decline a match where a competing quote is for different work, a different specification, or from a business we can't properly verify.
• This guarantee can't be combined with any other discount or offer.
• A matched price is confirmed in writing and is then fixed, on the same basis as any of our quotations.
