A family-run business

MA Electricals & Gas Works is a family-run company based in East London. We look after electrics, gas, heating, plumbing and air conditioning for homeowners, landlords, letting agents and businesses across London, Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

The business has grown steadily through recommendation and repeat customers. Our aim is simple: do the job properly the first time, charge what we quoted, and leave the paperwork in order.

Qualified for every trade we offer

Many companies subcontract anything outside their core trade. We don't need to. The business is Gas Safe registered, an NICEIC Approved Contractor and F-Gas certified, so electrical, gas and air conditioning work is carried out and certified under our own registrations. You can check each registration on the scheme's own website before you book.

How we work

• Clear, fixed prices. You get a written price before any work starts. If something unexpected turns up, we stop and agree it with you first.
• Honest advice. If a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we'll say so.
• Tidy work. We protect floors and furniture, and clear up before we leave.
• Proper paperwork. Certificates, warranties and Building Control notifications are completed and emailed to you.

Homeowners make up much of our work, but we also support private landlords, letting agents, property managers, shops, restaurants and offices. Whether it's a single socket or planned maintenance across a portfolio, you deal with the same team.
